Three weeks of strong sun leaves marks that take a while to show. Freckles darken, new brown patches appear on the cheeks and forehead, and skin often feels rougher once the tan fades in September.

What can be put right

Most of it fades with time and daily sunscreen. What remains by October responds well to laser and light, which works best once the tan has gone, and a course started then finishes well before Christmas.

Come for a consultation once you are home, and we will look at your skin by the window and write a plan that fits the season.
