How it works

Water Held
Where Skin Needs It

A skin booster is a very fine hyaluronic acid gel, placed in tiny amounts just under the skin across the cheeks, the neck or the backs of the hands.

It draws in water and prompts the skin to renew its own collagen, so the surface looks smoother and catches the light evenly. It adds no volume, so your face keeps its shape.

Good for

Fine lines on the cheeks and around the mouth

Dull, dehydrated or crêpey skin

The neck, the décolletage and the backs of the hands

Your course

Three Sessions,
One Season

Sessions are four weeks apart, so the skin has time to respond before the next one, and most people see the change from the second.

Week 0

Consultation

Forty-five minutes with a doctor, a skin assessment in daylight and a written plan with prices.

Week 1

First session

Numbing cream for twenty minutes, then fine injections across each area in about half an hour.

Weeks 5 and 9

Second and third

Each session builds on the last, with a two-week review after the first to check how you respond.

Week 13

Season review

Photographs in the same north light show what changed, and when a top-up would help.

What People Ask
About Skin Boosters

Anything we have not answered here, ask us on the phone or at your consultation. There is no charge for a question.

Contact the clinic
Does it hurt?

Numbing cream goes on twenty minutes before, and most people describe the injections as small scratches that are over in minutes.

When will I see a difference?

Skin feels softer within days, and the glow builds from the second session, about four weeks in.

How long do results last?

Six to nine months after a course of three, and one session every six months keeps them there.

Is there any downtime?

Small bumps at each point settle within a day, so most people plan a quiet evening rather than time off.

Can I combine it with other treatments?

Often, yes. Skin boosters pair well with a light peel or anti-wrinkle injections, spaced two weeks apart.

Is it the same as filler?

It uses a thinner hyaluronic acid spread through the skin, so it hydrates and leaves the shape of your face as it is.
